Greetings, families of CHS students!

Officers of the CHAMP organization invite you to join us as we support our high school students in reaching their personal and academic goals.  Since 1993, our non-profit parent organization has worked to accomplish the following goals:

·         encourage and reward academic success and personal accomplishment

·         promote and reward responsible student choices

·         offer information and resources to facilitate student achievement

CHAMP programs, listed on the back of this form, are possible because of the generous support from our community.  Our programs are funded through the sale of the $5 CHAMP discount card, the Final Score fund-raisers, family memberships, and business and personal donations.  We urge you to support CHAMP activities by purchasing a membership, using the form below.  The membership will ensure that you receive newsletters and notices about upcoming meetings.  In addition, CHAMP will award 3 CHAMP Member’s Scholarships, each worth $1000 or more, to members’ students, in addition to the 2 $1,000 CHAMP/WOEF Scholarships to WSU-LC.

CHAMP meets four times a year in conjunction with the Principal’s Parent Advisory.  During these meetings, Mr. Luebke will inform parents about important issues that affect our high school students.  CHAMP members discuss these topics and current CHAMP activities. In addition, a guest speaker provides information about pertinent topics.  Meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the high school media center on the following Monday nights: Sept. 14, Nov. 2, Jan. 11 and March 1. Because we respect your time, meetings will be conducted in an efficient manner.  You are invited to attend just to become informed, or you may volunteer to help with our activities.

Best wishes for a safe and productive school year!
