FTA Scholarship
Requirements:
· Celina 2010 Graduate
· Minimum 3.0 G.P.A.
· Declaration of intent to major in Education in college
· Two or more references
· Brief essay

DARE Scholarship/Career Grant
· Must be a graduate of a certified D.A.R. E. Program before entering 9th grade
· Remain true to the commitment made during the D.A.R.E. Program
· Be a senior who will be graduating at the conclusion of the year of application

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713 – Tommy Turnipseed Scholarship
This scholarship is open to any graduating senior furthering their education in an institution of higher learning.
Applications are to be returned to the VFW or the High School Guidance Office on or before April 12, 2010
Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 5713 Scholarship
This scholarship is for a female student seeking a degree in the field of medicine.

Mary Pogue Scholarship
This scholarship is for senior girls in the upper 10% of class. Applicant must attend an accredited college or university leading to an established degree.

This scholarship is open to any graduating senior furthering their education in an institution of higher learning.

Celina Firefighters IAFF Local 2603 Scholarship

Applicant must be a senior who will be pursuing education in a Public Safety or Health field. (Police, Fire, EMS, Medical, Nursing, HazMat, etc.)

Mercer County Pork Producers Scholarship
· Applicant’s parent or guardian must be a Mercer County Pork Producer member
· Applicant must be planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college, technical school, breeding school, or intend to pursue a career in agriculture (just farming)

The Joint Township Hospital Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is for any Celina High School graduate entering a health career.
Applications are due back in the Guidance Office no later than March 17, 2010
JDT Hospital Foundation Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior going into the field of nursing.

Celina Rotary Club Scholarship
Seniors who have been selected during their high school career as either “Student of the Month” or “Commended Student of the Month” are eligible.

Corinne Marbaugh Scholarship
(Available to anyone continuing education after high school)
Write a letter of interest including general information about yourself (name, address), general intended career path, school you will be attending, other scholarships applied for and scholarships received.
Turn this letter into the Guidance Office by March 15, 2010.
Stoneco, Inc. Scholarship
This scholarship grant will be awarded to a C.H.S. senior who will be continuing his/her education beyond high school in the field of education. The applicant must have a 3.0 GPA.
Application due in the Guidance Office no later than March 16, 2010
This scholarship is for students pursuing the field of conservation and/or wildlife management or fields related to these vocations.
Application deadline is March 31, 2010 (Student mails application)
Applications are open to women of Mercer County planning to attend a 4 year college.

Mercer County Retired Teachers Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for a Mercer County student who is planning to attend a college or university with a major in Education. Applicant must have a 2.8 or higher GPA.
Both academic standing and financial need will be considered.
Applications must be postmarked by April 1 of the current academic year.
12 William D. Squires Scholarships
will be awarded to Ohio high school seniors in the Class of 2010
Eligibility Requirements:
· Financial Need
· Graduating from an Ohio High School in 2010
· Have a specific career goal
· Be highly motivated
· Have good character
· Show academic promise. Minimum GPA: 3.2

Immaculate Conception PTO Scholarship
The applicant is to have attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Celina, have completed 6th grade at said school and be a graduating senior at Celina High School. The award is for the pursuit of further education in a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university.
Applications are due in the Guidance Office by March 29, 2010
Midmark Technical Scholarship
Midmark Corporation is offering a Technical Scholarship to a graduating High School Senior. Eligible students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following areas:
· Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management and International Business
· Attending an accredited four year institution
The scholarship comes with summer employment and a full time job after graduation.
There is a 3 year work obligation after graduation at Midmark.

CHAMP & CHAMP WOEF Scholarships
The CHAMP organization will offer three scholarships to members’ students. These three will be awarded to seniors who intend to pursue further education at a two or four year accredited educational institution. In addition CHAMP will award one CHAMP/WOEF scholarship to any student who will attend WSU-LC. All applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
