FRESHMAN SCHOLARS 2007-2008

The Freshman Scholars program was created to recognize and reward exceptional effort and achievement in students during their first year of high school.  Freshman year is a transitional period, and CHAMP members applaud the students’ success in managing their time and responsibilities, while attaining high academic standards.

Freshman Scholars are announced at the end of each semester of freshman year.  They are the ten students with the highest GPAs in the class.  Students are awarded with a letter of commendation and a gift certificate donated by CJ’s HighMarks, and their names are posted in the academic honors display case at the high school.

The Freshman Scholars program was created to encourage incoming freshmen to set high standards at the beginning of their high school careers. 2005-2006 Recipients

Pictured above are Celina High School's Freshman Scholars - students who were ranked in the top ten of the freshman class as they started their sophomore year.  CJ's HighMarks co-sponsors the Freshman Scholars program with Celina High Academic and Motivational Promoters (CHAMP) by offering  gift certificates to the distinguished students.
