Respect Yourself
- Attendance
at school is essential - Be there on time.
- Homework
is important! Do it on time and do it well.
- Get a
good night's sleep and have a good breakfast everyday.
- Eat a
healthy lunch.
- Take
pride in good manners - at all times - in all places -
towards all people.
- CIS
students should dress for success.
- Good
personal hygiene starts your day out right.
- Get
the most out of class time, participate and be an active
listener.
- Challenge
yourself to do your best - all the time - and in every
way.
- Remember
that you represent our school wherever you are.
Respect Others
- Keep
hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
- Speak
kindly to all people.
- Everyone
has the right to a peaceful and safe environment.
- No
one has the right to interfere with another person's
education.
- Possessing
any type of weapon is not permitted on school property.
- No
form (verbal or physical) of violence will be tolerated.
- Obscenity
(verbal or written) is not acceptable at any time.
- Bullying
and harassing will not be tolerated.
- Other
people's belongings are private property and not to be
touched.
Respect Your Environment
- If
you drop it - pick it up.
- If
you open it - close it.
- If
you spill it - clean it.
- CIS
is a drug, tobacco, and alcohol free environment.
- Vandalism
or graffiti of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Keep
your locker and desk neat and organized.
- Take
care of all school owned materials and property.
- Use
all equipment properly.
- Do
nut run in the building unless you are in gym class.
- Use a
voice that is appropriate for the activity.
- The
"Good Neighbor" Policy is in effect.
- No
loitering or littering on nearby properties.
- Enter
and leave the building in an orderly manner.
- Use
the recycle bins appropriately.
- Skateboards
and roller blades are prohibited on school property.
