Who should test and when??

*Any student planning to attend a four-year college.  ACT and SAT suggest that juniors plan to test during the second semester of their junior year.  If you are taking the ACT, plan to take the writing portion AT LEAST ONCE.

*Seniors wishing to re-test should do so in the Fall of the senior year.

*Students planning to attend a technical college and major in a health field (ex: nursing, radiology, etc.) should plan to take the ACT or SAT

*Students planning to attend a two-year or technical college and major in a non-health related field generally DO NOT need to take ACT/SAT.  You may want to check with admissions personnel at your prospective school to be sure.

*Students DO NOT need to take both the ACT and SAT.  Schools will accept either one.  Generally Ohio students take the ACT.
