My name is Betsy Woeste. I am new to the third grade team at CES!
I graduated from Celina in 2004 and am so proud to be a Bulldog. I earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University and went on to obtain a master's degree in Reading from BGSU as well. This will be my 14th year teaching. I previously taught first grade for two years in Delaware, Ohio and most recently served as a kindergarten reading specialist for 11 years at Celina Primary School. I also teach at Wright State University Lake Campus, helping preservice teachers learn about teaching reading and writing. I am excited to work with third graders this year!
I am married to the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. (Erick) Woeste. We have four daughters named Evelyn, Emilia, Eleanor, and Eloise. They keep us busy with their activities. I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, watching TV, and listening to podcasts and music.
My favorite aspect of teaching is getting to know my students as individuals and helping them to learn and grow. I am also so excited to teach with my sister, Mrs. Harner!
