"Elementary school years set the tone for developing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for children to become healthy, competent, and confident learners. Through a comprehensive developmental school counseling program, elementary school counselors work as a team with the school staff, parents, and the community to create a caring climate and atmosphere. By providing education, prevention, and intervention, elementary school counselors can help all children reach academic success."
-American School Counselor Association

Celina Elementary School is a character-based school where students not only learn the academic skills needed to succeed, but also the life skills needed to become successful adults. Celina Elementary School's counseling program offers that outlet for students to learn about themselves and others through guidance education lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. We also work collaboratively with parents and teachers to further assist in the students' academic, personal, and career development. We are very excited to meet and work with our wonderful students and their families throughout the school year!
