Dear Parents,
On behalf of the staff at Celina Primary, welcome to our school. As a school, we want our students to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally. We set high academic standards for our students. Our staff works diligently to ensure that each child is working to his or her maximum ability. Celina Primary, the Celina School District and our Celina community have a common goal – do what is best for students (and then do some more).
Celina Primary places a great deal of emphasis on the students taking responsibility for their work, words, and actions. We infuse character education into our daily schedule through the use of character words, morning announcements, and being “bucket fillers”. We talk about these words and actions every day so students can learn to implement them into their daily lives.
Celina Primary truly is a wonderful place to be. It is our hope that through our educational initiatives, each child has the best school experience possible. We hope you will work with us as we nurture and educate our students. I hope that you take the time to come and visit your child’s classroom and be an active part of his or her education.
