Hello!!  My name is Kasandra K. Holstad, and I teach 4th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies at CES! I love my job because it is so rewarding every day.  I enjoy watching the children learn and grasp a new concept, along with building relationships within the classroom.  Furthermore, I feel very fortunate to work with such wonderful educators and friends.   

I graduated from the University of Toledo in December 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in education and a minor in mathematics.  I taught for five years in the elementary grades and decided to pursue a degree in cosmetology.  Being a beautician for 8 years was an unforgettable experience, but I missed being in a classroom.  Currently, I am in my 8th year in fourth grade at CES!!  I have no regrets with my career choices, and I feel blessed to be where I am today.  

My family is my biggest accomplishment, and although they can drive me a bit crazy….I look forward to every moment I spend with them.  I have been happily married to Brian for 20 years, and I have 3 children (Evie:  17, Kenlee:  15, and Collier:  10).  They all keep us VERY busy with their active lives in social groups and sports.  I can’t forget our newest addition….Koda!!  He is a beautiful Goldendoodle and knows nothing but love from the Holstad family.  Our biggest challenge is getting him completely potty trained. However, we are “ALL IN” with Koda and love for him to join us in all our activities/hobbies (boating, swimming, sporting events, exercising, vacationing, watching tv, playing games, reading, napping, etc.…)
